Kerry P. Sisselman was born in Westbury, New York, USA. She has lived in Florida since 2001 and makes her home in Hollywood. In 1989, Ms. Sisselman received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. In 1992, Ms. Sisselman received a Juris Doctorate in Law from Indiana University at Bloomington (cum laude). Ms. Sisselman is a member of the Indiana Bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Sisselman has a varied range of experience, having written and prosecuted patent applications relating to inventions in such diverse areas as computer hardware and software, medical devices, oil rigs, semiconductor device fabrication, consumer electronics products, motor vehicle control systems and cameras. Prior to coming to Lerner Greenberg Stemer, Ms. Sisselman was in-house patent counsel for Concord Camera Corp. and was a partner at an intellectual property law firm in the Midwest. During college, Ms. Sisselman was privileged to have the opportunity to study briefly at the Xian Jiaotong University in Xian, China, and had summer internships at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Batavia, Illinois and the Center for Compound Semiconductor Electronics at the University of Illinois.
