Lerner Greenberg Stemer LLP traces its roots back to the Knight Brothers firm, which originated in 1842, six years after the modern United States patent system was created. Our firm specializes in intellectual property law and has its principal offices in Hollywood, midway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, on Florida's southeast coast.The professional members of Lerner Greenberg Stemer, one of the largest patent law firms in Florida, have over 150 years of combined experience in representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
We devote virtually all of our efforts towards the prosecution of patent and trademark application, opinion work, and licensing. We represent applicants before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, before the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) within the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) framework and before the U.S. Copyright Office. Seven of our professionals and most of the support staff of the firm are fluent in at least one language other than English. Our main field of specialization is to provide services in German and to clients who are located in German-speaking countries.
